Davenport Company to Repair Grant Wood Stained Glass
Jun 29th, 2009 | By Editor | Category: Industry NewsGlass Heritage in Davenport, Iowa, has been awarded the contract to repair artist Grant Wood’s 25-foot-tall window that depicts life-size soldiers from various wars and a rising angel welcoming them home.
 Valued at $3 million, the window was damaged during last year’s flood in Cedar Rapids and is located in the first floor of the Veterans Memorial Building/City Hall.
